| The best reason I can offer for doing POOL is, the
strength of the relationships which are formed at
this show. Which is to say, we have fantastic
strong relationships (professionally and personally)
with practically every store we’ve ever worked
with at POOL. It is an amazing thing we’ve
not experienced with any other trade show where
often relationships end up being more superficial. |
| Retro-a-go-go |
| POOL is... independent thinkers, creative
expression and a lot of good energy rolled
into amazing products. |
| tokidoki |
| We did open a bunch new specialty store accounts
and we did 33% more business this time than
before! |
| Free Gold Watch |
| We also loved the quality of brands that you
guys selected at POOL........ it made everything
weird, artsy, passion based, and non-commercial.
I think that is a real draw for buyers... especially
in this economy.... it is important to be different,
not homogenous. |
| DE*NADA |
| Participating at POOL trade show as well as being
selected as one of its LOOP artists has been such
a great success and experience for our brand, De*Nada. It
was the perfect trade show to showcase our collection including
the debut of our new knit line, which received such
an awesome response by everyone! Not only did we
get numerous new orders at POOL,
we also had the opportunity to network with people
in the fashion industry and press. Plus, the
organizers and staff of POOL are fantastic! They
were so great to work with, as well as extremely
supportive and helpful throughout this entire trade
show experience. We love POOL, and can’t wait
to be apart of it again in August 2008! |

| Blood is the new Black |
| After five seasons at POOL, sales this season literally
doubled making this my best show ever! All three days
were busy for me and internationl attendance really
stood out. And we managed to see all of our major
accounts as well, from both the east and west coasts. |
| No Star |
| The show was great for us. Much better than we
had expected, given the current state of the economy.
In addition to maintaining our current retailers, we
wrote with 10 new accounts for No Star at the
show. We also launched two new tee brands, Oh, Snap!
and 4th and Forever. We met with buyers from Urban
Outfitters, Delia*s and Nordstrom, who all showed
interest and we are following up on those accounts
now. We also wrote with United Arrows, which was
an added bonus! All in all, it was one of the best
shows we've had in awhile. |
| Bleecker & Sullivan |
| POOL trade show is an unbelievable tool
for upcoming designers ...we have gotten
into stores we never would have been able to reach
during the three days at pool. The staff is amazing
and make it their job to ensure us designers
have the best show possible. |
| Idylle Clothing |
| Pool has always provided a great atmosphere
and meeting ground for connecting with our core
business on more of a personal level. The vibe is such that
the brand and the buyer are able to do business in
a more relaxing environment. |

| We found the show extremely well
merchandised along with great energy. We like the
fact that it is attached to, and yet somewhat separate
from, the main MAGIC show. One of the lines that
we found originally at the show, Homage, was again
an exhibitor and we found them to again have great
tees for the store, we also found and wrote orders
for Outlaw Print and Rojas which will be coming this
spring. All in all congratulations on a well produced
show. Keep up the good work |

| It was my first time coming to Vegas and POOL is
my Favorite Show! Love the vibe and
the fact that most of the designers are in their
booth. Very Inspirational! |

| I was very impressed with POOL.
I was able to find items for every category I was
looking for...this season the show went back to its
roots of young artists and designers. It’s
nice when you can feel inspired at a tradeshow. |

| This pool was beautifully laid out. I
loved the cash and carry. It really made Pool unique
from the other shows. We found a couple new brands... Overall
it was a great looking show from the bags to the
signage |

| WGSN |
| POOL still managed to outshine the competition with
a stellar outing this season…the show is going
from strength to strength with a more upbeat atmosphere. |
| Cal Apparel News |
| An increasingly sophisticated and contemporary
line-up greeted buyers… a premium was also
put on the merchandising of the show, which featured
cool signage and a design–room aesthetic… |
| WWD |
| This show has become a great place for young,
independent designers to step out… |
